BAIC Heavy Vehicle Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as BAIC Heavy Truck) is located in the National High-tech Industrial Park of Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is jointly invested and established by Beijing Automobile Group Co., Ltd. and Changgao New Group Co., Ltd. It has added a commercial vehicle business sector and set up a R&D, manufacturing and marketing center. It is an important commercial vehicle production base for BAIC Group’s strategic layout in East China. As a major foreign investment from Beijing during the 14th Five-Year Plan period of BAIC Group, the project covers a total area of about 1,000 mu, with a total investment of more than 3 billion yuan, and a planned annual production and sales of 100,000 commercial vehicles.

Based on the future development strategy and layer by layer of screening, BAIC Heavy Truck finally chose GREA with rich experience in the automotive manufacturing industry. Focusing on the three core goals of "logistics whole process management", "intelligence of warehousing management" and "industry and financial integration", it built a one-stop multimodal transport logistics management platform including Transportation Management System(TMS), Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Billing Management System (BMS).

The project team conducted a detailed investigation on the future business, transportation business planning and settlement process system requirements of BAIC heavy truck center library, and sorted out the future process of each business scenario, which will realize--

Support the integration of relevant hardware equipment (vehicle identification, pry station system) to improve business operation efficiency

Automate the functions of carrier and capacity allocation, settlement ledger generation and billing based on rules.

Support real-time monitoring and query of warehousing and transportation process nodes

Support visual management of logistics nodes

The integrated Internet of Vehicles obtains vehicle location in real time to realize trajectory monitoring and trajectory deviation early warning.

Support the integration of SAP, PMS and DMS multiple external systems

Support integrated pry installation station, intelligent warehouse gate or positioning system

At present, the BAIC heavy truck project is being carried out with the full cooperation of the project teams of both sides, and it is expected to be launched smoothly by the end of this year. With mature TMS products and rich vehicle transportation experience, GREA is confident that it can meet the needs of future expansion applications of BAIC heavy trucks, improve transportation coordination capabilities, and help BAIC heavy trucks achieve intelligent interconnection.
